Plant Fescue Sod

NC Sod & Mulch plants (or lays) fescue sod for customers in Raleigh, Cary, Durham, Fuquay-Varina and surrounding areas.

While we also lay other types of sod, we have found that early spring and fall are the best times to lay fescue sod.  Why, well because fescue is a cold weather grass and it germinates best when the temperatures are cooler. Another benefit of planting in the fall is the decreased water needs – meaning less maintenance for you!
