How much mulch do you need?

One cubic yard or mulch measures 3 feet by 3 feet by 3 feet and will cover approximately 100 sq feet (ten feet by ten feet or an area approximately the size of a small car). We recommend a three inch depth of mulch for maximum moisture retention and to suppress weed growth.
